Another week of pseudoscientific pronouncements from medicine’s media darling

Los Angeles, CA – America’s Frontline Doctors’ (AFLDS) Fauci Flip-flop weekly roundup is an ongoing record of the top flubs and flawed advice from President Biden’s chief medical advisor. This week, Dr. Fauci:

• Seemed to endorse a future “vaccine passport” for visitors to Yankee Stadium while criticizing the Texas Rangers ball club for starting their 2021 season at 100% capacity: “I would not start off with 100 percent capacity.”
• Continued to speculate in a fact-free way about a supposed connection between coronavirus variants and rising infection rates in states like Michigan. However, according to a recent study, natural and vaccine immunity are shown to neutralize variant transmission among patients.
• Asserted without evidence that maskless children should not be allowed to play with others. Reminder: Children account for 1.7% to 2% of the diagnosed cases of COVID-19 and have milder symptoms compared to adults. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association, approximately “1.6% of children with a known case of COVID-19 have been hospitalized and 0.01% have died.”
• Backed away from CDC Director Rochelle Walensky’s “impending doom” prediction of a fourth coronavirus surge, even though he once confidently prognosticated “multiple outbreaks” across the country as businesses and parts of civil society were reopening.

“Dr. Fauci appears fixed into a mindset that cannot imagine a post-pandemic America, one where his considerable skills at doomsaying and panic are no longer in demand,” said AFLDS. “The fact remains that we have turned the corner on this virus: natural and vaccine immunity are widespread and states are reopening without significant community transmission of a virus with a 98% recovery rate. The emperor has no clothes, if he was ever clothed at all, and the naked truth is that Dr. Fauci should be fired immediately and replaced with a more competent physician who can face reality fearlessly.”
