AFLDS Member-Physician Scott Jensen Announces Run for Minnesota Governor

Dr. Jensen has stood up for science and quality patient care, taken on medical cancel culture Los Angeles, CA – America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) today released a statement following the announcement that one of its member-physicians, Dr. Scott Jensen, declared his candidacy for governor of Minnesota. In addition to serving in the State Senate from 2017 to 2021, Dr. Jensen has practiced family medicine in Carver County for more than 30 years. An author as well as a pilot, his professional accolades include the Minnesota Family Physician of the Year award from the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians. In April 2020, Dr. Jensen risked his career and professional reputation when he questioned CDC and Minnesota Department of Health guidelines related to death certificates for suspected COVID-19 patients. He soon found his medical license challenged by the state’s Board of Medical Practice and was threatened with cancellation in the mainstream media, simply for defending longstanding practices and medical ethics. Thanks to his vigorous defense of the pre-existing data and clinical and patient experience, all allegations against Dr. Jensen were subsequently dismissed. “Dr. Scott Jensen has earned a reputation for standing up for science, truth and quality patient care regardless of partisan politics or pressure from special interests,” said AFLDS. “Dr. Jensen’s personal and professional background provide him with the unique skillset, common sense, and experience everyday Minnesotans want in their next governor. Dr. Jensen’s story of courage and dedication to the truth demonstrates that Americans can fight back against cancel culture and win.”

Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship to restrict the art of healing to one class of Men and deny equal privileges to others; the Constitution of this republic should make special privilege for medical freedom as well as religious freedom."
