Today America’s Frontline Doctors released the following statement in response to acts of violence and threats of violence inside the U.S. Capitol last week:“As physicians and healthcare policy advocates, the idea of using violence or threats of violence to achieve an agenda is against our organization’s principles as well as the oaths we have sworn to do no harm. No AFLDS members participated in or were a party to any violence or vandalism and any suggestion to the contrary is false and misleading.

“Despite deep political divisions, as a nation we must continue to focus during this pandemic on ensuring all Americans have access to reliable science-based healthcare information, that doctors are able to maintain independence, dangerous lockdowns are lifted, and vaccine mandates that threaten patient choice do not become the norm. This national conversation must continue and our nationwide network of physicians will continue to help lead it in a science-based fashion.”
